Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Parnassia website and Moonfield, an application published by Parnassia LLC ("Parnassia," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Moonfield or this website, you agree to these Terms.
Moonfield license
Moonfield is licensed, not sold. When you download Moonfield through Apple's App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple's applicable license terms, Apple's terms control to the extent of the conflict.
Subscriptions
Moonfield may offer auto-renewing monthly and annual subscriptions. Current options may include $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Eligible users may be offered a seven-day free trial. The exact price, trial eligibility, and billing terms presented by the App Store at the time of purchase control.
Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Refunds and billing disputes are handled according to Apple's applicable policies.
Your record and backups
You are responsible for the content you enter into Moonfield and for maintaining any backups you want to preserve. Moonfield provides tools to export and import backups, but no storage system is guaranteed to be permanent or error-free. Keep important backups somewhere you trust.
Astronomy and interpretive material
Moonfield provides astronomical calculations, seasonal information, and traditional symbolic or interpretive material for personal reflection and general informational use. Astronomical calculations can be affected by device settings, location permissions, time-zone data, software limitations, and other factors. Moonfield is not intended for navigation, emergency planning, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or other safety-critical decisions.
Acceptable use
You may use Moonfield and the Parnassia website for lawful personal purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the service, reverse engineer or redistribute Moonfield except where applicable law expressly permits it, misuse Parnassia intellectual property, or use the website or app in a way that violates law or the rights of others.
Intellectual property
Moonfield, the Parnassia name, app and website design, written material, graphics, branding, and other original Parnassia content are owned by Parnassia LLC or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your own journal entries and other original content remain yours.
Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Moonfield or the Parnassia website as the product evolves. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after revised Terms are published means the revised Terms apply from their stated effective date.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonfield and the Parnassia website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parnassia LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Moonfield or the website. Any limitations that cannot legally apply to you are excluded only to that extent.
