Moonfield Privacy Policy

Moonfield is designed to keep your personal record personal. Parnassia LLC does not collect, sell, or use your journal entries, intentions, reflections, or other personal Moonfield content for advertising or tracking.

Information stored in Moonfield

Information you enter into Moonfield, including journal entries, intentions, reflections, cycle records, seeds, focus items, and related personal content, is stored locally on your device. Moonfield does not require an account, and Parnassia LLC does not maintain a server-side copy of this content.

Location

Moonfield may request access to your location while you are using the app. Location is used on your device to calculate location-dependent sky information such as sunrise and sunset, twilight, Moon rise and set, planet rise and set, and viewing times. Your location is not sent to or stored by Parnassia LLC.

You can deny or later change location permission in iOS Settings. Moonfield can still provide location-independent celestial information without location access.

Subscriptions and purchases

Moonfield subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Parnassia LLC does not receive your payment card details. Moonfield may receive subscription status information from Apple so the app can determine whether you have access to subscription features. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Moonfield does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Parnassia LLC does not sell personal information or use Moonfield content to build advertising profiles.

Sharing and exports

If you choose to export or share information from Moonfield, the copy you create is handled by the destination or service you select. Parnassia LLC does not receive those exports unless you intentionally send them to us.

Data retention and deletion

Because Moonfield's personal records are stored on your device rather than on Parnassia servers, Parnassia LLC does not retain a remote copy to delete. You can remove content using available controls in the app. Deleting Moonfield from your device generally removes its local app data, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior.

Security

Moonfield relies on iOS security protections for data stored on your device and for App Store transactions. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free, but Moonfield is intentionally designed to minimize the amount of personal information transmitted away from your device.

Changes to this policy

If Moonfield's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated to reflect those changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when the policy changes.
